On The Line lets you set a goal, put a stake on it, and name a friend to referee whether you followed through. It's an honor system backed by a real person, not a bank.
Stakes are agreements between you and the people in your goal — we track the ledger, but settling up (sending or collecting money) is between you and them. We don't process payments or guarantee collection.
A referee's call on whether you met a goal is final within the app. Disagreements are between you and your referee to work out.
Don't use On The Line for anything illegal, or to harass or defraud another user. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use On The Line after an update means you accept the new terms.
